The origin of our company lies in Export. Since the end of the seventies we have developed Export markets with strongholds in Asia, Middle-East, Africa, South America and Europe.
Initially dealing in export, we were directed and focused towards the phenomenon specialities.
Therefore, IST concentrated its efforts on these items without forgetting the applicable specifications. We have observed that most companies mainly focus on the larger (EPC and OEM) projects, large sums of money and vast quantities, whilst with every large project small items can cause huge
challenges for clients. With this in mind, instead of concentrating on the bulk of projects, we invested our efforts offering the special items and quickly needed materials for top-ups, shut downs and overall quickly needed “hard to find materials” in a variety of material grades. Such as, Special Stainless Steels, High Nickel Alloys and Alloy steels.
Having this done for so for many years have gained a tremendous knowledge and expertise. Also the collabaration and strategic alliances with our partners and fellow stock holders gives us the possibilities to basically get the impossible done.
